About

The Rhodes University Rowing Club was founded in 1934. The club is based in Grahamstown and training is done at the nearby Settlers Dam and the infamous Kowie river. We are one of the top university rowing clubs in the country with the goal of being one of the top clubs in South Africa. The club has a proud history of competing at the top levels of South African rowing and continues to punch well above its weight. The club caters for all people, from national rowers, to those just looking to have some fun and keep fit. #livethedream
